Utah adoption photographer | newborn love

This is such a beautiful adoption story!  I was able to go to the hospital to meet this beautiful baby, birth mom and adoptive parents a few weeks ago.  All in the same room, all smiling, it was such a precious experience!  MyKelle (the birth mom) shared her story with me:

“So my adoption story is a pretty interesting one. One day my mom saw a post on instagram and it showed a couple that was wanting to adopt a baby. I wad already planning to place my baby up for adoption and there was a couple in California that was looking for a baby as well. I just felt that the family in California was to far away, and right away i chose Tia and Peter. Then I went In my room and I called Tia up and I said, do you want this baby and of course she was shocked and I don’t blame her. She ended up going to the temple with her husband and prayed about it. Then a little bit after that things started to kick in, she came to appointments and we started meeting up for lunch. I at one point was thinking of keeping her, but then I started to wonder what I should do. So I prayed to lead me in my decision, then one day after an appointment (Tia came to this one). My mom and I looked at each other and we both felt that this baby was meant to go to them. it was very calming. When she finally was born it was very special, Tia was there and my mom and her mom and sisters. Right when Luca was delivered she went to Tia and I think that was the most sweetest thing. The next day when everyone came to visit you could just feel the spirit in the room and it was a day filled with love and just pure happiness. There were so many people that they had to be out in the hall, and at the end of the night the nurses asked if there was anybody else coming. There was so much love and support. I know I’ve made bad decisions in life, and that’s how I got in the situations I was in. You always think nothing will happen, but things do. It has made me learn and grow and to know that Heavenly Father has a plan for us and is in control. I feel so blessed that I can start over, it’s never the end. Like President Monson said “It’s better to look up.”
